Cookie decorating!

I had planned on having cookie decorating at Grace's party, but when we had to move to the park, I decided that probably wasn't the best outdoor activity.

So, we saved the stuff, and Brittany and Sami came over yesterday to help us decorate!

It was fun, but they were done with it in about five minutes. It's a great quick little activity for young ones though!

Thanksgiving is up next! I plan on watching the Macy's parade Thanksgiving morning. Not entirely sure what we're doing yet. My dad wants us to go eat with him and my brother at a home-cooking type restaurant around noon. Then, I think we'll be having Thanksgiving dinner at our place with my mom and sister and maybe a few other people. My mom and I decided no turkey... yep, you read that right. No turkey on Thanksgiving. We're just not fans of turkey. We're going to do a big ham instead and have green beans, macaroni, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, deviled eggs, and pumpkin pie. Makes me hungry just thinking about it!
We're also going to put up our tree the day before Thanksgiving!!! I'm so excited about that. I love decorating.

We went to Dollar Tree today and got stuff for stocking stuffers, some wrapping paper, and stuff like that.  We only have a few more gifts we need to buy, and we'll be ready for Christmas!

I apologize in advance if I am MIA for a few days. I'm getting all four of my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow at 1:30. Wish me luck!

  1. That cookie decorating looks fun.. And now I want some cookies. Lol.

I can not wait for Thanksgiving. Oh yum. I LOVE turkey. And mashed potatoes, rolls, green beans, pumpkin pie. Excuse me, I'm drooling. Lol.

Good luck with getting your wisdom teeth out. I'm scared to have mine taken out.. Lol. Only one is even poking through at the moment. The other three have yet to show that they exist. I hope it stays like that for a long time.

  2. Lol you're not having pregnancy cravings at all are you? :p At least you have an excuse. I'm just a fatty lol.

Some people actually don't have all their wisdom teeth. Maybe you are one of those lucky people! I'm dreading it. I don't have enough room in my mouth (especially on the bottom), so the wisdom teeth are pushing my other teeth. They aren't all the way in yet, so he's going to have to cut them out. Crazy thing is, I'm not really worried about that... I'm scared I'm going to puke lol. I hate puking and supposedly the nitrous oxide can make you nauseous.

    1. I hope I am one of those lucky people. It would be cool because I'm missing a tooth already. One the bottom by my molar on one side.. It just never came in. 2 of my brothers are also missing the same exact tooth. Lol. It's weird.

If they all come in I'm super scared. I had braces for 2 years when I was younger, and now I have a permanent retainer. It's like a piece of wire that's held in place by a clear sealant thing-y. Anyway, I'm scared if my wisdom teeth all come in it's going to snap my teeth or something because there is no room for them and the wire seems like it would make it impossible for my teeth to move to make room. Eeks. :(

    2. Oh goodness. That would be scary! I've never had braces. I got fitted for them when I was younger, but they wanted $4,000. My teeth aren't really that crooked, but I have an over-bite, a cross-bite, a little bit of crookedness, and two of my teeth are the size of baby teeth, so they wanted to fix all that. My parents couldn't afford it though.
I'm determined to get braces one day. I want those perfectly straight teeth! Lol.

  3. That was fun! We should start finding fun little activities to do with them and then just send them to play. :) I can't wait to take them to Pump It Up!

I'm glad you figured out what to do about your Dad. Is your Mom going to start dinner before you get there? Just so you know, you are crazy! I am not a turkey fan, so we get Cajun turkey, but at least it is turkey! lol I am just kidding. Turkey, from what I am reading, doesn't have anything to do with the first Thanksgiving. All the articles I read said fish, deer, and corn were some of the only original foods associated with their dinner. So I told Jessie he had to get a deer before Thanksgiving! ;p I can't wait to for Thanksgiving either though.

You guys are putting up the tree the day before Thanksgiving? Sounds good. You gonna decorate everything that day too? I can't believe it is almost time to do all that! I looked at my phone this morning and said, "November 8th?! Already?! It was just Halloween!"

I have been MIA also...I am totally making a super long post tomorrow.
