Also, my baby ticker thing has changed on me and now says that I change weeks on Saturday instead of Sunday, so apprently tomorrow I will be 14 weeks! Not sure how it changed, but it's fine with me lol. 4 weeks until we find out if it is a boy or girl!! And it is the size of a lemon now. I have another appointment in a week, so I will know more then. I don't think I am getting an ultrasound then though.. Does anyone know what the absolute earliest they can tell the sex of a baby is?

ReplyDeleteBy 14 weeks the baby's parts are formed. At 15 weeks they can be seen on an ultrasound but they do not say what it is because they kinda look the same due to swelling of the genitals on a girl. I don't think you want me to go into detail. But anyways I always got mine at 17 weeks. Nice and clear. Believe me if it's a boy you will be able to tell right away. Haha.
But omg I can't believe you are that far along already. Jeez it was like Ely was just born and you just foundnout like yesterday. I can't wait to find out. Can't wait to go shopping.
If they can tell at 17 weeks that means I can go in 3 weeks! I looked online and read different things. I saw as early as 16 weeks, but I don't want to go in and they not be able to tell or get it wrong.. but hey 17 weeks is week sooner then we were planning so that's good to me!! I'm going to call the lady on Monday and see if I need an appointment or what I need to do. I've never been to the place before, so I don't really know how it works.
