Tasty Tuesday :)

This is another crock pot recipe.

Chicken and rice! This recipe was super easy! And again, I used the small crock pot, and it made enough for four servings.

Ingredients:
  • 2 frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 package of cream cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 package of zesty Italian dressing seasoning (as seen in picture)
  • Rice (I used ReadyRice)
Directions:
  1. Let the cream cheese sit out for about 10 minutes
  2. Put cream cheese and cream of chicken soup in the crock pot on low for 30 minutes to allow the cream cheese to soften enough to stir.
  3. After the 30 minutes are up, stir the cream cheese and cream of chicken soup together, then add the seasoning packet, and blend well.
  4. Add the chicken breasts and cover with the mixture
  5. Cook on high for 2 hours, then use a fork to shred the chicken.
  6. Continue cooking for another 2 hours on high.
  7. Cook your rice (I used the rice you put in the microwave)
  8. Turn off crock pot, add rice, blend well with the mixture.
  9. Enjoy!
--- Would be good with corn or green beans as a side. I also think it might be good if it had some corn added to it. I'm going to try that next time.

  3. Umm.. it was just called chicken and rice on the place I found it, but it's not exactly what you think of when you think of chicken and rice..
Maybe it could be called creamy chicken and rice? That suits it better to me.

And please, feel free to print them off :)
