Tasty Tuesday :)

So, at this point, most of the meals I make are meals that can be made easily and quickly. I have figured out that there are endless options for croissant rolls.

For this meal we used them to make... Pizza!

Ingredients:

1 can of croissant rolls
1 jar of pizza sauce
1 bag of shredded mozzerella cheese
Whatever toppings you want

Directions:

  • Preheat oven according to what the package of croissant rolls says
  • Grease pan
  • Spread out croissant rolls flat on the bottom of the pan and mush the sides together to make a solid piece of dough
  • Place in the oven for 5 minutes
  • Remove from oven, put on the sauce, cheese, and desired toppings
  • Return to oven for 10 minutes
  • Remove and let cool
This makes an awesome and quick pizza without the frozen taste. I hate the taste of frozen pizza, the price of restaurant pizza, and having to mix pizza dough. This takes care of all of those things!
And you can do it different ways. We have done plain pepperoni pizza and we have done a Hawaiian pizza (with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and pineapple). Next we are going to try a BBQ pizza with chicken, BBQ sauce, and onions. I also plan to try it with veggies too. So many different options!

  1. This is cool. It reminds me of a veggie pizza that I made for a Pampered Chef party. But, I buy the Pillsbury canned pizza dough. I'll have to try your B-B-Q pizza...sounds yummy!

  2. Hmmm. Never thought of that. So you just squish them together like with taco bake?

  3. I've tried the canned pizza dough as well, but I like the thickness (or lack-there-of) of the croissant rolls.

And yep, just like the taco bake :)
