I love this thing!

I got my iPod set up, and I love it! I already have tons of music on it, and I downloaded the facebook app for it. I'm going to find some other free apps to put on it too.
Chris also got me an adapter for my car. My car has a cassette player in it, and the thing he got me is like a cassettetape, but it plugs into the iPod to play the music through it. I haven't taken it out of the house yet though because I haven't gotten my case yet, and I don't want to take any chances. I'm supposed to get the case sometime this week, and I can't wait because I put Christmas music on the iPod lol.
I love the camera on it. It takes pictures just as good as my camera does. I also love that it has wi-fi on it.

I swore that I would never let Grace touch it, and of course she is already wanting to...
But then, I came across this on pinterest...

It's called the Fisher-Price Apptivity Case. It's $15 at Wal-Mart. I know it looks sort of baby-ish, but it's supposed to be really durable and protective. We were wanting to get Grace a portable DVD player, but I figured if we got her this thing, she could use my iPod as a movie player since I have already found some Elmo's World to download for her, and this will be MUCH cheaper than a portable DVD player. Plus we won't have to fool with carrying, inserting, and changing the DVDs. Plus, I can download her some free educational apps to play around with. AND Brentley can use it as he gets a littler older too. I have read reviews, and most of the reviews are outstanding. If they aren't, it is usually someone complaining about not being able to reach the homebutton, but if you insert it upside-down you can reach the homebutton (I've been watching youtube videos about it as well). So, we are planning on getting this as one last present that will be for both of them.
Only problem... it's out of stock online, and the only Wal-Mart that has it in stock near me is 15 miles away :( I'm determined to get it though. I just hope they still have it on Tuesday because I can't go tomorrow.

Now, I'm off to search for more free apps :)

  1. Ha Ha. You are already got your iPod? That's awful. I always have to wait until Christmas.

That is an awesome idea about the case! (You could also get like an Otter Box or something. Jessie has an indestructible Griffin case for his iPhone and Sam hasn't been able to damage it.) My phone doesn't have apps or anything, which is why we got her to LeapPad. I think it is awesome when kids can navigate stuff like that so young.

  2. That's awesome!!! It is a really good idea!!!
Brittany is right!! Otter boxes are awesome!!! I have the Defender Otter Box and I can not tell you how many times my phone has been dropped, thrown, hit, banged on tables, and soaked in baby drool.... Not a dent or scratch on it:) also the Griffin cases are good to. I had one on my IPad and that was the iPad Kaedyn played with ....dropped thrown ran over(with stroller) and still no dent:)
