Being a young mom means we met a little early, but I get to love them longer.

I love days like these!

It was pretty cold today (I think the high was like 38 degrees), but we were bored, so we decided to go out to eat. We went to Tokyo Express. It's a Japanese place that's pretty good for the price. Grace did so good there! She sat in her booster seat, and ate everything on her plate. Brentley slept the whole time, so it was a nice, peaceful dinner.
We decided to go to the mall after that. We walked around the mall for awhile. Grace wouldn't hold either of our hands. She wanted to walk beside us, and if one of us tried to grab her hand she would say, "I coming. I coming!" Once Brentley woke up, we went to the play area. We were there for over an hour. For the longest time Brentley just sat in my lap taking everything in and trying to talk to me and Chris. He loves to babble.
Grace had a blast playing. She kept yelling for us and she would go, "Look, I sliding! Weeeeee!" Then she started running around the slide that was closest to us saying, "I running! I running! I running!" She really is getting good at talking. The other day she said her first five word sentence. She said, "Oh no, it not working." in reference to one of her toys that ran out of batteries.

Anyway, Brentley eventually got hungry, so I fed him, and when he was done we headed home. It was such a great evening, and Chris said that he wants to try to do this once a week.

(She needs her hair cut again)

This is her singing her ABC's.

She knows A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L, M, N, O, P, W, X, Y, and Z. Only eight more letters to learn. She can also count to thirteen and recognizes numbers one through thirteen. Like if I write a 2, she will say "two." 5, she will say "five." Etc, etc.
And she knows almost the entire cast of Sesame Street. She knows Elmo, Abby, Cookie, Ernie, Grover, and Big Bird.

  1. What a smart girl! :)

Sounds like ya'll had fun. And Grace is really growing up. Samantha does the same thing. We are not allowed to hold her hand. (Drives me nuts.)

I Love outings like that. We usually go on Mondays when he if off because it isn't as crowded as on the weekends.

    See you later today. :)
