I can finally talk about Christmas!!

So the mall and Wal-Mart and I'm sure lots of other places are decorating for Christmas! I love this time of year! From Halloween to New Years is my favorite time of the year! Chris and I are going to start buying more of our decorations now :) We decided that it is going to be our family tradition to decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving every year. So that means we only have 19 days left to get all of our Christmas decorations! That is just crazy! We are going to go Tuedsay and look for our ornaments.. we still need Grace's, Ollie's, mine, Chris', and our family one. We are going to Halmark for mine, Chris', and Grace's, and we are going to this place in the mall that personalizes ornaments for our family one.. we got one there last year. Not sure where we are getting Ollie's yet. We also have to get stockings for everyone (except Grace bcause we still have hers from last year). But I know what I want to put in everyone's stocking... for Ollie we are going to get some dog treats and bones (he doesn't play with toys for some reason).. for Grace I am going to put some of the medium sized Wheel Pals (I already have 4 of them for her), some juices, some yogurt bites, and some fruit bars.. and for Chris I am going to put LOTS of Reece's (he is addicted to them), some gloves for working on cars, and some cologne from Rue 21 (it smells soooo good!).. also I told Chris to put Nerd's Rope, some different make-up things, and a pro-life bumper sticker in mine.
I really don't know what I want as a present for Christmas though.. but I'll have to come up with something because Chris, bless his heart, is one of those people who is horrible about picking out good presents. He used to be great at it, but now he has gotten me earrings, two necklaces, and a bracelet, so he thinks he can't get jewelry anymore lol, and he's kind of lost without it.

I have a pretty good idea of what I want to get for Grace and Chris though.
Grace got Toy Story 3 for her birthday and she LOVED it, so we want to get her the first two for Christmas and we also want to get her the Barney Christmas movie because she also loves Barney, and I want to get her the IPlay Fairyland Playhouse that goes with the other Fairy playset she already has has. And I want to get her som curtains for her room. And I may get her a ball after seeing how she reacted to Cayle's ball at his birthday party lol. We also already have two sets of five small Wheel Pals we are going to give her.

As for Chris I think I have decided to get him a Kinect..
Speaking of Kinect... Brittany and Erica - your Jessise and Adam convinced Chris he needed an Xbox again at Grace's party lol. However, he was actually smart about it.. Adam told him about the sale they were having, so he bought a used one and got it for like half off and it came it Halo Reach for free which is like a $50 value.. so it was actually pretty cheap compared to what they usually are. So now he has an Xbox, but it actually helped me a little with his Christmas present because now I know what to get him lol. (Please don't tell Adam or Jessie what I am getting Chris because I don't want him finding out).
I also want to get him a subscription to a car magazine that he likes because I found a two year subcription that is only like $20..

We already ordered my dad's present.. we got him a set of 14 coins from the US Mint.. (he collects coins).
We are going to to get my mom the 4th season of Lost, Chris' brother a Gamestop card, my sister some arts and crafts stuff, Chris' mom a DVD of all of the videos we have of Grace (that is what she asked for), and we aren't sure what to get my brother yet.. but we know almost everyone's. We are doing good. I decided we are just going to have one big shopping day sometime between now and the end of the month and we are going to get everything we need in one trip.

I can't wait for Christmas!!

UPDATE: I asked Chris what he wanted to get Grace for Christmas and he said he wanted to get her Toy Story 1 and 2 as his presents, and he just ordered them off of Amazon.com. He was excited lol.

Playworld and Grace's birthday party :)

So we went to Playworld on Thursday. It was a really neat place! And we dscovered that Grace really is a little daredevil. The only complaint I have is that they had the heat on! Yea, it was cold outside, but when you are running around (either as a kid, or a parent running after a kid) it gets HOT.. we were burning up, but Grace didn't seem to mind lol. Another complaint I have (not about Playworld iself) is this one mom who was sitting at a table not paying her two kids one bit of attention. The little boy was asking everyone for money, and when someone would tell him they didn't have any he would start kicking and turning things over. And the little girl was just mean. She was picking specifically on Grace.. where ever Grace went she would block her and say "this is my house" or if Grace crawled in one of the sections she would say "get out of my room!" It was so annoying. I was trying to be nice, but it was getting to the point where I was like "This place is for everyone to play. It is not your house."
But anyway.. Grace LOVED it. She was going down the big slides all by herself and she loved it! She is definitely getting that from Chris because I am terrified of heights and pretty much anything adventurous! Lol.

And then today was her birthday party. Unfortunately that picture girl did show up.. and would you believe she brought some guy with her and they both dug into our food?? I will NEVER use her again.. once I get my pictures I am deleteing her from my facebook. However, I am kind of glad that she came because my mom forgot her camera and I didn't have time to take pictures, so at least we got some.. even if most of them were from the seat where she was sitting and eating.

The party itself was awesome though. Right at 30 people showed up, which was a pretty good turn out. I was a little behind schedule, so I was still making the food when everyone got there.. but I got everything together pretty quickly (even before everyone got there). When everyone got there we ate, and then Grace opened her presents, and then she had her cake.  She did really good for all of it! I don't have any pics of the party yet (because I am waiting for that chic), but I do have pictures of all the presents and of how it looked when we got the bare minimun set up, so here they are lol.

The picture is of of everything that she got for her birthday, so it includes the Wheel Pal that Jessika sent,  the potty that my Aunt and cousin sent, and the stuff we gave her on her actaul birthday.

All together she got 9 Wheel Pals and a Wheel Pals artic playset, Toy Story 3, Veggie Tales (The Wizard of Hoz), 2 birthday ducks, the potty, the bubble maker, the Little People Fairy Treehouse, the Little People School House, a kitty puppet, 4 stuffed animals, a drum, the Little Tikes Castle play gym, Snow White, a Snow White baby doll, a Baby Alive, a Nursery set, a Laugh and Learn Tea Set, a baby worship CD, a Little Peope Birthday DVD, a pretend tool box, 8 outfits, one shirt, and one jacket.

I will update with pictures of the actual party when(if) I get them.

Having doubts, but I am too nice.

Okay, so on an earlier post I mentioned having the girl come take pics at Grace's party. I am having strong doubts that it will be a good idea. My first doubt came from the fact that she did not even show up at Cayle's party.. no word on why.. she just didn't show up.
Then the day after Cayle's party Chris accidentally butt dialed her number, but he didn't think it had rang yet, so he hung it up.. about 2 minutes later she called back, and Chris was trying to tell her he was sorry, that he didn't mean to call her. And she just kpt asking how he got her number. He told her it was my number and that we were going to have her a Grace's party, and she asked him something and he goes "She knows more about that than I do." and he handed me the phone, and I said "hi" and she rudely asked, "How did you get my number? I don't give my number out to customers." I was like "Well you texted me the other day to tell me that you had gotten the invite to Grace's party, so I saved it so I would know who you were." and she goes "Ohhh Christina?" Ummm DUH! Chris only told you like six times that it was my number and we were hiring you for Grace's party. The rest of the phone convo was pretty civil, so I just kind of shrugged it off.

I guess I should mention this before I tell you the rest.. the girl will not leave me alone. Even since before Grace's party she had sent me a couple messages about wanting to do pictures.. in fact, she was the one who contacted me about doing Grace's party.. and ever since I have agreed to let her do Grace's party I have gotten a message at least every other day (sometimes two days in a row) saying she wanted to get Grace to come to some gazebo she knows of and get a little cake and take some pics.. I have tried to tell her I don't have time. I mean I am either in school, at work, cleaning, or getting things ready for her party lately.
Then today, I posted the professional pics of Grace on my facebook and I got a message from her saying,

"I got a question. How come we didn't do that shoot at the gazebo? with the cake and stuff? that was my idea. Anyways, am I still doing pictures saturday?"

Am I the only one who thinks that sounds really rude? I mean for starters what is it her business? And I always get Grace's professionals done at JC Pennies because they always do a great job, and they are patient and kind. And she acts like I stole her cake idea.. I had nothing to do with the props they chose, and I'm pretty sure that is a standard prop for a 1st year photo shoot.
Anyway.. for some reason I can't be mean, so I told her about how we had that appointment for Grace for over a month and that I always use them and I told her that she could come if she still wanted to. You know what she said??
"I will still come if you are still going to pay me."
Who says that? I really don't want her there, but I can't be mean.. it is just not in my nature. What should I do?
I am sort of hoping she just won't show up like she did with Cayle's party, but if she does I can guarantee that I will not be using her again. I don't care if you are not technically a professional.. I am still a customer and you do not treat customers this way!
